One of my favourite dinners to make is breakfast for supper. Scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants. If I have leftover potatoes on hand, I will make hash browns too.
Mr. J was in charge of the hash browns last time we had breakfast for dinner. I put 1 tbsp of butter in a frying pan over medium heat, added the potatoes, a little bit of salt and pepper, and used my pampered chef garlic press to add some garlic.
Once everything was in the pan, he was in charge of moving it around so they didn't burn!
Do your kids like to help in the kitchen? Do they have a specific job?
Looks like you have a great little helper! Involving kids in the kitchen is something I think is very important! (Judy Cowan)
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you get your kids involved in the kitchen as I think it's so important for healthy eating later to build a connection to food and cooking early.
